Sharing The Gospel By Faith Through Generous Giving

Welcome to FaithTip. The mission of FaithTip is simple; to preach and spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

FaithTip encourages all Christians to tip a MINIMUM of 20%, especially on Sundays!

Here’s where things get fun. Leave a tip of AT LEAST 25% and also write FaithTip.com on the receipt. Do this BY FAITH that your tip will be going to someone who needs it and that they may visit this site. You may change someone’s life by your simple act of faith and generosity!

You may just be leaving a FaithTip to a single mom who is struggling to buy basic necessities for their children. Or you may be leading someone to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

As Jesus commanded in the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Some Christians struggle today as to how they can share the gospel in their daily lives. This site is meant to encourage Christians to give generously as an outward act and expression of the generosity and grace that God has freely given to us. If God can be so abundantly generous to us as rebelling, wretched sinners, then surely we can extend generosity to those who are serving us!

Let’s be honest and practical. While there are waiter and waitress jobs that pay very well, the vast majority of waiters and waitresses are waiting on tables to make ends meet. They are not wealthy. They are working because they need the money. A little generosity can go a long way.

As a matter of opinion, 15% should be a bare minimum tip unless the service was so bad that you asked to speak to the manager. Now if 20% is considered to be a ‘good tip’, consider the real difference. On a $50 check, 15% is only $7.50 and 20% is $10. That’s a difference of $2.50. I think that if we are fortunate enough to be in the position to go out to eat and pay our bill of $50 that we should all be able to tip the extra $2.50.
